      Rear dash cam wiring/tailgate help

      Hi All,
Recently acquired 2019 XC60 RD after the 2015 RD was totaled and I am trying to install dash cam in the rear. On my 2015 i had no major issues installing it but this 2019 is kicking my ass. I cant figure out how to get the rear trunk paneling off and disconnect the wire loom grommet between the rear hatch and the body to snake my wires in.

Has anyone had experience removing it? I am trying not to break it and be as gentle as possible but the damn thing wont budge.

Any help or tips or trick will be appreciated.

Yeah, I had the same problem. I ended up doing the ugly route and just hide the cable along the weather strip. Just like one of the posts = https://i.imgur.com/VjZwAMTl.jpg

These videos I found helpful for: 1. A pillar 2. Access the 2019 passenger fuse box 3. hardwiring the dash cam

This video the guy actually shows you how he accessed the fuse box, (skip the video to where you want to see, it can get boring watching the entire video) https://youtu.be/u7hX_Iwzfho

This video explains the basics of hardwiring the dash cam very clearly including how the fuse tap orientation goes, how to locate positive and negative https://youtu.be/C4CkStK45io

Got around to getting it done today. Thanks for the help above guys. Still didn't finish as I didn't have the correct micro fuse taps. Ordered some and will complete the job this week.
The hardest part was figuring out how to undo the wire grommet between trunk and body but I figured it out.
Will try and post some pics later maybe a tutorial for others who want to tackle the project.
I'll have to do some custom modification to intelisafe plastic housing to mount the camera. Trying to make my particular camera (ThinkWare u1000) be as oem mounted as possible.
