I was Looking at Difference in Turbo Wheels & Turbo's ~ as I'm Porting a K04 and Blue Printing it Match T5 Head , Further I'll be Porting the Turbo Housings also ..
Investigating these Turbo's from B5254T3 up through B5254T7 to see If there were any Differences , but when I got to T5 V60 2015 - all Info seem to Drop Out
Even Thou it's T5 is 5 Cly with same Head Gasket - Rated @ 250 /266 T5 Turbo Gasket is the Same . so If anyone has any Stuff on these 5 cly. V60 T5 Turbo , Appreciate it , Thanks
I found Billet Turbo Wheel it's about 15 years into Future K04-2280 Billet .. so Hoping to Turn it into PS412 "Puma Speed 412" type set up - It should be Tune-able Even Higher then
310hp / 330 Tq. but Stage 2R is Nice Comfortable Smoother Tune vs all out Race . .

Certainly there are Better Turbo Designs , but Auto Manufactures are just to Cheap to Implement Unless _ Economically Forced to do so do to Fines for Not Meeting CAFE STD.'s
1. Such as Lighter & Longer Lasting Brakes Components so as to Not Pollute all water from side of the Road .. while wasting Massive amounts of Energy to Keep Building Replacements ..
2. Light Wheels
3. Dual Scroll Turbo's
4. Variable Scroll Turbo's
5. Direct Injection Motors - that doesn't Load Up Valves with Carbon Deposited - Like VW's and some Others ~ Pistons with Built in Cooling & Progressive Injection Timing ~ Have Cured most 98% of that . .
Back to the Turbo's , so Porting P1 Turbo Manifold is big Help along with Ceramic Thermal Coatings and Better Designed Billet Wheels - These 3 Items Certainly Going to Pick Up Eff% and HP . .
These Older Turbo's Now with 180K on them are starting to be Really Loaded Up with Carbon or 80% Worn Out . .
Just Thought with all the C30 AWD's and Other Improvements & Mods ~ That someone would be Fitting T5 from 2015 Model with the 8 Speed Trans ~ Certainly must be enough Wrecks By Now . .
Keep Eye Out for "DL555" Coming to Swede-speed . .
Taller Longer Billet Compressor ~ does something along these Lines ~

Here some Volvo Cross Ref. for the T5 Turbo : This Newer T5 : 2012 _ 2015 is Same Turbo - sure seems like 12 years down the road this Newer T5 Motor would have Better Wheels inside it ..

Another Thing Noted ~ Is the Addition of Lower Heat Shield so there's a Upper & Lower - Combined ~ this would Shield the Block Better from what I remember on V50 & S40 Design
May have slightly Larger Shield , but was all on Top Turbo & Manifold Area . .
I don't see 2 shields on C30 ? ( Hence More Block Protection from Heat Soak ) ?
It stated this "extra" I'm calling it as I don't recall it being on My V50 is also being used on 3.0L , so I'm I looking at this Correctly - ?
The C30 like s40 & V50 - didn't have ? or did have this Extra Shield - on C30 ?

Newer Style Heat Shield - Looks to Allow More Heat to Leave going straight Up or Outward - where as the Heat Shield Below ie. Older Designed Heat Shield stock Unit is a lot more Encompassing . .
I'm wondering If anyone with Head Gasket Issues ~ has been Running extra Hard or Extra Hot states , then Fast Shut Downs . . that said Newer one looks lighter and easy to Manufacture , but the Addition of Second Shield
States Something ~ Read Into it as ~ You may . .
