I messaged the seller and he doesn't sound like he knows anything about them- he works at a place where someone had these removed to buy new ones. I questioned whether they were actually 20" since I didn't think there was a 19" version of the 2015/16 wheel and he said he'd measure as he was curious, too.

Me too, but I don't see any darker gray in the inserts - the finish looks uniform like the 15/16 version. I asked for a pic of the backside to see if they are indeed OEM.

Ah good point. Either way, think I'll hold off and maybe do BBS sometime in my future

I'd be tempted to take a look at those if it were closer, although the amount of wheel weights visible in the one picture makes me wonder if they have a bend..... currently keep trying to decide what I want to do with the wheels on mine (18" Ixiom) . One has a pinhole leak in the wheel, assuming it is just a pinhole and not a crack (pretty sure it is just a pinhole) I can get it repaired fairly easily, but I don't want to spend a bunch on it as the PO parked by feel. So, all 4 have some rash, which bugs me no end. Looking at upgrading to some 19's eventually, but realistically I would need to sell the 18's to offset some of the cost of any replacement wheels as I can't swap the tires over (dealership put brand new, albeit not a great brand, tires on right before I bought it in January). The tough part is that I don't think the market for used Volvo wheels is all that big and even smaller of a market for used Volvo wheels with curb rash. Makes pricing the Ixioms and deciding what to do a little tough. I'll likely just stick with them for now unless an ideal set comes along at a good price. Somewhat rambling here I know!

One problem I am finding is that there are not a lot of wheels out there that suit the V60, might be just my taste.

Heard back from the seller - they are, indeed, 20" but they are pretty beat. One of them has a bend and there is lots of rash. I don't know what it costs to refinish, but if you could buy them for more like $400, then it might be worth it, although a brand new set is like $1800ish on Tasca. So, can you refinish for less and be ok with a used set? Your call.

Them being 20" rules then out for me entirely. That before even considering trying to get then repaired, a little rash I can deal with, a lot and a bend. Nope.

They might be a cheap (relatively speaking) project for someone just not me!

That's a damn shame, right? Those would dress up ANY v60.

I’d swoop those polestar up in a heartbeat for $500. Lucky East coasters always getting sweet deals, ha.
A bent wheel can be fixed relatively easily and cheaply, and the whole set’s rashes repaired and custom powder coated for just a couple hundred.
But being a non “true” polestar don’t know how I feel about putting them on my car. I’d rather have a more unique wheel set. Do P* owners have the same sentiment as M owners do? In that it is a crime against the Car Gods to put P*\M stuff on lower models?

I could give a crap- I’d rock those on a pedestrian p3 v60. I’ve got a wheel guy who does phenomenal work at 170 a wheel but then that’s more than the wheels themselves. Older Volvo’s have pegs and Tethys and propus on any model because 5x108 doesn’t give you much choice to be unique. Other Marques do make faces at those who put m3 wheels on a 318 etc. but you’ll probably get a jealous fellow Swede driver give the thumbs up.

Good points. I also get into the mindset that things like these wheels are common and everybody has them. I just need to remember that in reality I see very few modified or performance oriented Volvos in person unless I’m doing a road trip to IPD or elsewhere.

Badging your car as something it isn't or building a clone of any of the really special stuff wouldn't be cool. But if you wanna upgrade your wheels, by all means go right ahead as long as you're not gonna claim it's something it isn't just because you fired the parts cannon at it.

A-ok to mount factory forged wheels on your car if you can get them.

Looking at those pics again they are about the most hacked up set of P* wheels I've seen thus far.

I've been half looking for a set of the OEM 19" winter wheels ('15.5-'16 vintage) - quite a bit different look than the summers. The original P* cars down under came with these standard.

That's a great deal on those. They came on 08 C30 T5 2.0 which later became R-Design. Have them on our C30, same car not ours. The Bore is 63.4mm so too small to fit other Volvos or I would buy those for the 03 S80 T6. Thanks R-Pow3R3d, it works.

If these two wheels got together they have an Atreus, elegant and sporty. Trying to help WIwagon with his decision making also.

BAT site is down. Wonder what they’ll look like when it’s back up.

Looks like they're sold, but if the other 3 were in the same condition as the top wheel in the pic that was a smokin' deal, if you like those wheels of course, and shipping didn't kill the deal.

The perfect XC90 V8 winter wheel - fits over the calipers, suits the car, and makes snow tires a bit cheaper being a 17".

Our set is getting to be close to needing to be refinished, and it's literally cheaper to just buy another set - even if i factor in the cost of having someone switching my tires over.

To each their own, but I think you were tired. Certainly not for 550. For me, not even for 150.

Those aren't snowflakes. Similar, but snowflakes are 18". I wanted them at one point for my C30, but then I said all I'm doing is really making it look like a Ford.
