V60 CC AWD Luxury Seats w/o CC pro Package?

Is this possible with an OSD purchase?
Planning on ordering for OSD a V60cc but I need the Luxury seat package and the advanced package but not the Pro Package. The USA build feature on the Volvo USA site requires the CC Pro package which I would prefer NOT having. Mostly I don't want the 19" wheels and the limited choice of snow tires and firmer ride, and I don't need the extra stuff in the package and $2576 expense.
Can I order via OSD with the Advanced Package, Luxury Seat Package without the Cross Country Pro Package via OSD. Again, I know it can't be ordered this way on the USA web site. But the OSD price lists don't specify the seat package requires the CC Pro package.
Does anyone know? My local sales person is on vacation. Thought maybe someone here might have knowledge on this.

      Cheers
      Mike

Most likely not, as Front Seat Power Cushion Extensions and the Power lumbar are part of the pro package, and getting the luxury seats would require those. However you can always ask your dealer, they'll be the only ones to know for sure

Your best bet is to just get the pro package (it has some really nice features) and then buy some 18" "take-offs" OEM wheels on ebay.

I totally agree with you by the way, it's one of the main reasons I went with an inscription S60 instead of the R-design, the inscription came with 18" wheels instead of 19". Big wheels are dumb!

Thanks for confirming the bad news about having the Pro Package forced if Luxury seat package is desired. I'll confirm with dealer and post the reply for others. Not surprise-just disappointed.

More uncomfortable ride, more expensive tires, more likely to curb your wheels, less sidewall, all for looks and the illusion of performance. It's one thing if you *have* to have big wheels to clear the brakes, but to put 19"+ on a car that easily fits 18" and the 18" look just fine is, yes, dumb. But that's the way the industry is heading unfortunately. It's seen as "fancy" to have 19"+ wheels

Why is everything that you don’t like (and your a minority in) dumb? It’s personal taste.

As for the benefits of using a bigger wheel is using a smaller side wall tire that improves handling, road feel, braking, and in some cases MPG.

Plus they look better (majority opinion)

Regardless always feel free to sell the bigger wheels and get smaller cheaper wheels and make money in the process if you don’t like them.

Everyone(well, mainly Kamil) loves an argument.....for hells sake people I was agreeing with the OP and answering his question. Enough. Get back to the subject at hand, which is OP wanting a special order and to CHOOSE to get 18" wheels because he, like myself doesn't like 19"+. If you have other things to discuss do it elsewhere

No one is arguing, just pointing out your personal taste is not facts.

Also its not just about the 19” rims but the added items in the 2600$ options he doesn’t find value in.

If it’s just the wheels get the bigger ones and sell them and get smaller ones.

I placed the order of MY2020 V60 CC via OSD in last April. The answer for your question is no. I wanted the same thing as you and got quite disappointed. Note, in the OSD list it does not say one has to order Pro package in order to get ventilated massage seat. The OSD specialist tried to place order a few times and every time the Pro package get auto-selected. It got confirmed that you cannot do that, you have to order both packages to get ventilated massage seat - kind of a sales trick? Actually V60 CC base is already got quite a few options/packages thrown in compared to V60 momentum trim. At the end, I decided to use that $5000 to cover the European trip.

I'm with the OP on this one. The CC design concept is a mild off-road vehicle. To me, a smaller wheel with taller sidewall seems a more logical choice for the CC.

That said, I ended up with a CC with luxury seating, the pro package, and 19" wheels. They 19's actually ride very well. The stock P-Zero's are OK in the snow and I've had no trouble on graded gravel roads (most of my off-road driving is fishing access). I don't expect the Pirelli's to last, and plan to look at 18" wheels when it's time to replace the tires. One bummer about the 19' wheels - which are attractive IMO - is that their profile is really exposed and will undoubtedly suffer from curb rash as well as gravel and stone damage off-road.

Thanks for all the information about the forced upgrades. After careful review (again) I think getting the R Design seat in the V60 with T-5 FWD (plus the sports suspension) and the choice of 18" wheels is more important to me than the AWD of the V60 CC with the Luxury seat package. The issue for me is the extended thigh support feature. On the RD seat extension has a cunard shape on the ends that holds my very long femur in place. The Luxury seat w/o the cunard might be great for people with wide thighs-but doesn't give me the support. I also prefer the side bolsters of the RD seat. The Luxury seat side bolsters setting is not memorized so every time you start us you have to manually adjust to your preference-this sucks! So I am trading the occasional security of the AWD of the CC in snow for the always (for me) more comfortable R-Design seat and more sporty handling and option of the 18" wheels I prefer. Net savings between models via OSD will be about $5K and I don't care about the extra few inches of ground clearance I will loose. I think this is how I will compromise my choices. Life is a compromise most of the time. No?

I agree that a 18" wheel package option, with the other packages your looking for, on a CC would be smart. Especially if you know your going to be going off road, in that's sense the appeal of the bigger wheels is less relevant. But I will say, for non off road use those 19s look sexy on the profile of that car! Good luck
