      Ignition coil question

I have 3 of the IPD HD coils that I bought from here. Can I install these with 2 new Bosch coils? IPD has no plans to remake them. Iím about to do my plugs so I figured Iíd do the coils while Iím in there.

Replace them all with OE equivalent bosch. The IPD coils are notorious for failure and not worth installing.

I had IPD coils, epoxy started to crack, sent them back for warranty, got new ones and never looked at anything else. Bosch are best.

My IPD coils lasted about 80k miles before they started to fail. Not as long as OE but still reasonable. If you have them thereís really no reason I wouldnít put them to use especially considering how easy it is to replace coils when they do fail. Most of the time I was running 4 IPD HD coils and one Bosch. Probably not ideal but it never caused any noticeable problems.

Scottish will probably flay me for this, but I have a set of Delphi on my C70 from 3 years ago, and haven't had problems with them...
They were cheap; currently 27/each on Amazon. (For reference the Bosch are 47 on Amazon.)
And then the warranties are 1 year for Bosch and 3 for Delphi...

I have Delphi as well. No bubbles no troubles. I never had any problem with Delphi as a brand.
