Polestar 1 Review on PBS Motorweek

This weekend's installment of the PBS show Motor Week featured a first look at the Polestar 1. Overall very complimentary, as one might expect. Nice to see some footage of this gorgeous car in motion, particularly for those of us who may never get to see one in the flesh -- er, carbon fiber. I guess with only 150 units a year coming to the US, my chances of seeing one are slim to none.

Beautiful car! I'm sure pictures/video do not do it justice.

Something with the claimed horsepower does not add up. 619 hp, AWD and 0-60 time over 4 seconds? BMW M5, AMG E63, Audi RS7 have similar power, AWD and do 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Though those brands do tend to understate their outputs...

This car is much heavier due to weight of dual power train: engine, transmission, battery and e-motor.
