Sorting out vacuum leaks... have a question

I've been smoke testing my '98 S70 GLT today. Tightened some clamps, changed some hoses, then came across an exposed nipple on the intake manifold located below the braided line in the pic...

I watched a RobertDIY video and, I believe, he said a hose should run to the TCV from there. On my set up, the hose he is referencing is coming from the vacuum tree. Can I just plug the intake manifold nipple or does the hose need to come from the intake manifold to the TCV and I plug the tree?
Thanks

Thanks. Are all the boost hoses the same vacuum source? Just looked at a diagram indicating TCV to fresh air pipe... mine is TCV to vacuum tree. Also, diagram shows bypass valve to intake manifold... mine is bypass valve to fresh air pipe. This is a learning process for me.
