Rears any wagon, fronts anything 05+. You may have issues with pass seat occupancy sensor

There is a calibration process for the passenger seat weight sensor. Probably need VIDA to do it.

I know people think I’m crazy but with all the XCs out there I’ve thought sometimes it would be cool to temp refit a black XC interior into my VR and save the gobi for future. Not like mine is award winning but it is clean and gets used daily so it’s a matter of time before wear continues to add.

It would be cheap and easy enough (you can literally swap the entire entire in an hour, at a leisurely pace). Plus with the added black in R interiors, it wouldn't look as out of place as it would in an Oak, non-R. Plus, you'd get the added benefit of some extra blue stitching…

The XC seats don't have the extra bolsters though and aren't as supportive imo.

Yes, that’s true. But as Sigg notes the extra blue stitching makes up for some of that. And they’re still better than 90% of the normal cars out there.

      05-07 specifically. 08+ is a different platform.

S60 fronts fit, rears do not. V/XC70s are the same all around for a given side of the facelift ('01-'04, '05-'07).
      2001 V70 Silver - 197k miles
      2006 XC70 Ocean Race - 94K miles
(Past: '94 944 turbo, sold at ~220k miles)

I thought that's what you meant, @[email protected] put 2016 S60 sport seats in his last VR iirc though. From what he said it didn't seem too complicated, all features worked.

2.4 and Turbo 2.5T 05-07 seats are CRAP!
I installed 07 XC70 seats in my 2007 2.5T and it was night and day...

However, I forgot to add, if you have a real base V70 with manual seats, you need to check if your wagon is pre-wired under the seats.
If not, you could be SOL!

Good side by side comparison of sport (left) and XC (right). Once you have experienced sport seats everything else sucks, kind of like how any volvo seat is a light year better than any equivalent seat from any other car manufacturer.
