Sagging sun visor - how the heck do you remove it?

Greetings from the other Swedish car community! Longtime SAABCentral moderator and poster here.

My parents have a 2016 XC90 with a sagging driver's sun visor - it won't stay up and I had to put some painter's tape on it in the interim, otherwise it blocks driving view. I removed the trim clip and unbolted the two 7mm bolts but can't figure out how the wire for the vanity light unplugs. Anybody know how? Was just going to order a replacement sun visor and replace it for them.

      Thanks guys!

Do you have it pulled out enough to access the connector? Then you just pull to disconnect.

I unbolted it and pulled it out as much as I dared with tension on the wire but there was no connector to speak of.

youd be surprised how hard you can pull on those little wires to get access to the connector

This is rare for a newer Volvo to have this issue.
On older Volvo's I advise customers to get this type of clip.

With visor in the up or normal position, Clip it on the visor side towards the windshield.
Fold the lower metal tab back towards the sunroof.
In the blocking the sun position do the opposite.
