x70 R had a thicker wheel and thumb grips

C70 coupes have a slightly different version of that wheel.

I have an 00 R wheel if you want one

You’ll need to cut down the back of the wheel. A couple write ups on it floating around.

"You have to take out the horn contact mechanism from the stock steering wheel and measure the ring diameter and placement. Then drill the same size hole into the base of the P2 wheel. Epoxy/JB weld it in there. Take the ground wire and go from it to one of the 3 Horn ground points on the P2 wheel.

You will have to grind/machine the raised portion of the splines as the P2 is longer than the P80. Somewhere around 2-3mm above the base is the sweet spot.

Then just plug the Airbag connection into the Primary airbag connection."
