First Time Volvo Owner, New To The Forum

      Hello all,
As the title says, I'm a new Volvo Owner, and I'm hoping I could get any info on things to watch out for, common issues, etc.
I'm a stats guy as well, so if there's any numbers on engine output, nationwide Volvo population density, etc.
Anything from what should be the most obvious to the most obscure, I'm a blank canvas in this new adventure.

My new vehicle is a dark gray 2005 station wagon with a blue leather interior.
It has the alphanumeric "V70" on the driver side corner of the hatch, and an italicized "RAWD" on the passenger side.

I hope I'm not imposing, I just want to learn more about my Volvo so I know how to answer some of the questions I'm getting...

      Thanks in advance!
      ~Studmuffin

Welcome to the forum. Just curious what drew you to purchase your new-to-you wagon. Did you have any idea about it's semi-cult status?
      Current - 2000 V70R Venetian Red Pearl
Past - 1998 V70 XC Emerald Green Metallic
RIP - 1987 Mazda RX-7 White/Red (first car, many speeding tickets, blown rotary engine)

I didn't know there was a semi cult anything with it. I honestly bought it because I like the way it looks with the wing over the hatch, and it's a wagon with a rear facing third row, I didn't know that was still an option after the 90's Taurus and the safepocalypse. The price was about 5K, and it was the cleanest V70 I found in that price range, so I thought I'd pick it up as a daily.
