First gen c70- 6 speed trans upgrade question

      Hi,
I have a 99 c70 coupe with a 5 speed manual transmission. I want to ask if it’s possible to swap out a 6 speed manual transmission from 2005(?) or newer c70 or other passenger car that is compatible??

Alternatively, is there anyone who knows of a good source to find the answer to my question.

      I’m hoping for good news!

      Thanks!
      Warren

An M56LK would give you better ratios of the M66 with far less cost and you wouldn't need to swap the shifter.

You would still end up with the same first gear and top cruising gear rations.

If the M56LK swap kit I just posted doesn't sell by spring I would consider selling just the trans, need the room in the garage.

So, the ML56 is a 5 speed? Is it a stronger trans than the stock unit?
      I assume it’s A direct swap?
      How much are you asking?

      Thanks
