The climate knobs fit, but they are a hard pull so becareful. I did it with the face on and a bone tool.

I haven't been able to get em off, bone tool wedged in a corner works though?

Weirdly I feel like homelink was a much more common option on 01-04 cars, I've never been able to find a good oak fabric homelink visor in a junkyard. Tons of arena, oak and gray vinyl ones though...and some fabric gray

BTW, the visors from the XC90s will fit a P2 V70/S60. Different style of fabric, but similar color palette. I have one in mine.

Very nice, I will be sure to revisit this thread anytime I consider doing something stupid like buying a V70R.

I gotta say, I am so happy with this trade. This car has all the pick up and acceleration you really need for a commuter, and the body is so pristine that I'm ecstatic every time I walk out and there's no new door ding.

Good news is the defroster repair worked fine. It took till today for there to be frost on the back window. I think I'll shop for tint tomorrow.

      Mmmm... tinty.

Got it tinted this week, 20% on the back and 30% on the front doors. I remembered wrong, I had 5% on my T5 but told him to do 20. I think it's better though as I can still see out of the car at night. I was terrified of backing in to things in my T5, I always put my windows down in case someone yelled.

Then today did some cleaning and touched up 3 chips that had black plastic showing through on the doors and the big one on the bumper.

Looks great until you get right up on it. I'm going to let it cure and try to wet sand it down.

Now I'm trying to decide if I want the Bilstein B8 shocks on it, I don't want a harsh ride but I don't mind sporty. The "Sport" setting on my R with stock springs was the perfect ride. I already bought the H&R springs for this so I'm just a little gun-shy.

Also these wheels need serious cleaning up.

You can run H&Rs with stock dampers.

Id suggest Bilstein B4 (Touring) with H&R. Rides like a R in sport mode if slightly less harsh on impacts. Currently the suspension in my 03 T5M and couldnt recommend it more.
