I know it's not standard, but according to the page I linked (it says: "Note! Not suitable for Twin Engine") and my dealer (who did not know the reason), it's not even an option on T8, you literally cannot get it. Usually that means they couldn't get the sensors in or something like that, but the T8 has 360 camera and the front/rear proximity sensors, so it just seemed weird to me.
Maybe it’s the software that needs to perform steer correction for specific T8 software that’s not currently available. It wouldn’t be 360 camera or front / rear sensors as they are used for pilot assist, parking view, cross traffic detection.
It was available for the 2020 XC60 T8 Inscription (at least we ordered it) and R-Design but I don't think it was an option for the Momentum trim level.
That's so odd. So it's only unavailable on the US-spec Polestar Engineered V60 T8? I also emailed Volvo corporate and they confirmed that it was not available and "it was a decision made by the product team".

I have a feeling it might have something to do with the Steering Programming specific to the Polestar Model. That's my best guess.
