      Air suspension service

The "suspension service required" message showed up today. Probably because the frigid weather in Midwest now. Problem is my wife is driving and she is over 300 miles from home. Luckily there is a Volvo dealer over there. My question is what if the dealer cannot fix it in time? My wife needs to get home Saturday. Should they cover the car rental expenses? We are just hoping that it's no major issue but just frozen.

      Thanks in advance.

It may resolve itself if she can get it in a warm garage to thaw the air compressor.

It's at the dealer now. VOC shows parking climate 3F... But the car appears to be inside the service department. Not sure what they are doing now.

Just a little update. Parking in dealer's warm garage fixed the problem. However once the temperature drops below 20 the air suspension just stops working. It has happened a few times already in the past two weeks. We have to disable the easy entry so at least it won't get stuck at the lowest ride height.

So I guess the air suspension is just not built for the cold weather?
