Oversensitive proximity sensors?

I'm finding my V60 CC's proximity sensors to be ... well ... over sensitive. I get it that they will malfunction if covered by snow or ice. But mine seem to have trouble with salt, water, and basic road grime. A run through the car wash fixes it every time, but this is my 4th car with proximity sensors and the only one that has exhibited this kind of behavior.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Take it to the dealer. My S90 has this issue and I just assumed it was normal and didn’t do anything about it. My new S60 doesn’t do this at all, so it makes me wish I had taken my S90 to the dealer to get it fixed.

All my Volvos did that. And by that I mean reacted to every car that was close by in traffic.

Front sensors for 2x P3 S60s and 1x P3 V60CC
Front and side sensors for 2x SPA XC60s and 1x SPA S60
