      240 engine swap

Okay call me crazy but any thoughts on taking a 240 of some kind and swapping in a Honda k24 mounted to a 350z 5-speed? Just a thought due to Honda's reliability and availability of replacement and performance parts. Plus motors can be found for 500 ish bucks

Any swap is possible. It comes down to your skillz and how much you want to spend.

I'm a bit of a purist and like seeing the right brand in the right car. I've seen market value really drop on such hot rods as well, so I'm not the only one. Often you find your self not appreciated by groups from either side (Honda or Volvo fans). It doesn't get much respect frankly. If that doesn't matter, then you can certainly do whatever you want and the wisdom will come down to what you want the car to do and if it's the most affordable way to get there. IMO it sounds like the same boring reasons folks pick a 350 chevy motor for a muscle car. More belief than truth.

I would love a built 240 no matter what engine. Had a buddy put a T6 in one - it literally flew. Go for it!

Yea I don't care what people think never have never will and the I picked the Honda motor because they are dirt cheap and have decent gas mileage, plus I'm a 20 year old kid who has little to no money and I figure I can do this with the knowledge I do have plus I have 1959 f250 that I'm keeping to the purist method with, so this idea is to have something that's strange and out there
