Link to the kit is here: https://usparts.volvocars.com/p/Volv...47/Kit063.html

If anyone has this installed, can you let me know if you had the dealer install it or if you did the install yourself please...thanks

Installation requires special tools, drill and rivet nut tool, for drilling out the car's existing holes and attaching the protective plate.
You can do it yourself, but the required rivet nut tool lists for $300+.

I had it installed on our V90cc. Had the dealer install it while it was in for 10k mile service. I don't have the correct rivnut tool and didn't want to buy it to install this one thing, and was happy to let them do it.

If the xc60 plate is the same as it is for the 90-series, just be aware that there's a revised part number as of 2020. They changed the NACA ducts from being a hard rubber/plastic that's riveted to the aluminum plate, to the NACA ducts being stamped into the aluminum plate itself.

Yup I've got it, see it in detail in these two videos:

I did remove it myself to fix the oil plug issue in the 2nd video, wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it's big and the washers are funky so having a helper really helps.

It's a totally different part, it's not the same

The first link is Part Number: Kit063, which has multiple parts
      What This Fits:
This product fits 5 vehicle variants.
      Volvo: 1 models, 5 variants between 2018 and 2020.
      Volvo XC60 2018, 2019, 2020
      Volvo XC60 2.0l 4 cylinder Turbo 2018, 2019

Based on the part numbers provided by the original link, we have the following part numbers in the Kit063:
      32207835 - skid plate
32270862 - rivets and bolts needed to mount
9512782 - silly Volvo rivet tool, like you said, use Amazon for this
      9814112 - silly Volvo Drill,

Only the first two are necessary and through Tasca the total is $326.41 + $18.44 = $344.85

Not sure why Volvo lists this as a kit, seems misleading to me

Thanks for the info. I did not check the individual parts

It is strange that Volvo emphasizes that it is only for the XC60

So for every other model according to Volvo there are other parts and tools

What's even funnier, exist Kit056 for the XC90 with the same parts and for V90 Kit065

      https://usparts.volvocars.com/a/Volv...it_kit056.html

      https://usparts.volvocars.com/p/Volv...46/Kit065.html

Same parts, different sets (Kit 056, 063, 065) and different prices

Probably Volvo has someone clever to explain this difference

Maybe the riv-nuts are an M10 for the XC90 and a M8 for the V90? I'm still shocked they say you need a Volvo drill

You think for an oil change they also list the tools needed...

But the catalog numbers for all three packages are the same

When you look at MOUNTING KIT 32270862:
This product fits 30 vehicle variants.
      Volvo: 4 models, 30 variants between 2016 and 2020
