So I added some color to otherwise boring rubber.

Nice. Did you hand paint it?

It’s the fully automatic one. Since the car isn’t a daily driver the battery is maintained by ctek when not driven. I had good luck doing this on all of my previous cars where the battery lives strong after 7+ years. And obviously everyone’s favorite S/S works with the firs stop I make. Its in heated garage so no need for remote start.

I brought my connection thru the front grill so you never have to open the hood. Comes thru with a water proof push connector & cap. Quick & easy. Last battery made it to 13 years and I only replaced it because of a small weep.
By the way - nice detail

      Had nothing to do today

I’m waiting for the extender to ctek to do the same. Have the original installed on my old 535. Great chargers.
Thank you for the thumbs up.

Those ctek chargers are great. Had problems with battery maintenance on a BMW motorcycle. Replacing batteries on that machine was a real PITA. problem solved with a ctek charger.

Which of the many Ctek chargers do you use for a V90/S90?

Love the paint job! The vinyl wrap stays on with just the existing adhesive or did you use something additionally? BTW, which model of CTEK are you using? I have the same issue with infrequent use.

The charger link is above. I used vinyl as it matches the colors in front of the car. Even tho the cover is all rubber some alcohol and heat on the wrap worked pretty good and it sticks well. Time will tell how well

I put my cable in the black flexible cable sheath when routing to the front grill. Protects against nicks.

Theres a delaership in California which vinyl wraps the rear badges, wraps the wheels and front grille and also puts this little flag. Great idea on the part of management at that dealer to make them look more appealing to the market there, I called them and got all this info, its Volvo of Palm Springs. I plan on doin this to mine once I get it

I started with photoshop and did 3 designs send it to my family members and winning one was used. The plastic from eBay seemed too thick for my liking.

      That's not for R-Design grills.

On another note the Ctek extension cable is now installed. So far happy with it. No need to open the hood anymore.

      Had nothing to do today

Well that was closest to the Swedish flag colors they had in Bavarian tint shop. And I think it works well with bursting blue. Can’t make this a race car.
