      Blackout

Hello. I have V90 in black but all my badges and the Volvo are in chrome. Anyone know where to buy black replacements? I have seen black badging on other cars so trying to figure out the best option if I decide to swap out. Thanks.

I don't know of any black replacements. I dipped mine.

Volvo doesn’t offer black badges. I wrapped mine with black 3m window trim vinyl

I totally debadged my V90. As a result I have had several guesses that it was a Maserati, and yesterday somebody identified it as a Panamera.

This is an off the wall idea, but, my local body piercing shop can dip the surgical steel piercing stuff into an anodizer and make it shades of grey or other light colors. If you can buddy-buddy up to one, or similar industries, maybe the parts could be dipped.

One of the Maserati guesses came from the owner of an independent Ferrari shop. The Panamera guess came from a car enthusiast who was partly fooled by the fact that it was sitting next to our Boxster.

Couldn’t find any black emblems on the market (there are some carbon fiber-print wrapped ones), so just painted them

This was the only company I could find when I was looking to do the same thing.

      https://deepbluechrome.com/collections/volvo

I considered having my letters dipped and then put back on, but didn't think it was worth the hassle or money, and now it's completely de-badged I actually like it better...
It confuses the hell out of people, LOL and I love it!!!
      Current : 2019 V90 R-Design - Full R-D package + Integrated Rear Booster Seats / Borla Exhaust / K&N Filter / Chrome Delete / Ceramic Pro on Silver Paint / 99% De-badged (planned, P* Tune + other minor customizations)
      Former : 2015 V60 P* (aftermarket Wheels / Exhaust / K&N Filter) Blackout + other minor customizations

Do you actually need a photo to show you what a debadged tailgate looks like?
