Just called our Volvo Service Dept., and they confirmed the recall for our 2019 V90 CC...it’s said to be a “1 hr fix”.

Depends how long ago the last update was. I've had some take 10 minutes and others 45.

Today I picked up a 2019 CPO V90 CC T5 with just 1,700 miles on it It was the service manager's company car. All the software is up-to-date, including the forward collision warning recall software upgrade, which they did while I was doing the paperwork with my salesman. It's just a software upgrade.

This 2019 T5 replaces a much beloved CPO 2018 V90 CC T6 with all the bells and whistles. That one was totaled when a PA highway truck rear-ended me while I was stopped at a red light, triggering a five vehicle crash. With the market and economy where they are today I did not want to dip into long-term funds, so the T5 makes a very acceptable replacement. I'll miss the B&W audio and the extendable seat cushions, but other than that I'm content with the T5. BTW, the 2018 did it's job. The front and rear accordioned, and I have a little bruising from my seat belt and the steering wheel and knee-level air bags, but no serious injuries.

Well, since the function never worked after taking possession of the vehicle, whatever time it takes to do the fix, I’m totally good with it.

~ Now I know why my Volvo didn't see the young man in the dark pull out on his bicycle in front of me. Fortunately no impact.
Had the Recall complied with yesterday, can we now have a do-over?

You drive better than Uber's self-driving system.
