Daisy is a real sweetheart... 3rd motor?
Most times a car this old would be a scrapper after first motor!
Good job man for keeping the faith!

Daisy is still on her original motor. She only had 110,000 on the clock when I bought her. The s40 I bought my daughter almost 5 years ago is on her 3rd motor. I put in the 2nd and my nephew put in the 3rd.

I don't name my cars but yours looks exactly like my 99 was before "The Project' became a reality!

This car has 225/45/17 on it right now and they are almost slicks. Got to put some new shoes on her and was thinking I want a bit more sidewall. These just look puny. Probably staying with 17" rims.

Any recommendations on a good compromise between cost and comfort without a bunch of rubbing? I was thinking about 225/50/17.

235/45r17. Wont rub if you have proper turn stops or a 1/4" spacer behind your existing stops.

225/45 look good but are a little harsh.. I have a set of 215/50 snows that i really like the look and ride although snows tend to be softer.
      Cheers!

Unless the steering stops have been deleted it’ll be fine.

Thanks for the info guys. I want something to fill up the wheel wells a bit more and give a better ride. No plans on lowering it or moving up to 18" wheels.

I'm thinking 225 50 17. Think these would cause any problems?

Did you get that '04 V70 T5 in Chicago? I saw one up there but I thought it was black with that mileage. I couldn't get it as I'd be ducking my wife and her frying pan for week! But soon......

I bought it in Jonesboro, Arkansas which is about an hour and a half away from where I live. The title is from Indiana.

That's nuts! There was a black/charcoal V70 '04 t5 auto in Chicago at the same time for $2500. It had like 120k on it. The front driver's seat looked perfect. I hope these are the new prices on them, I'm going to need to pick one up soon.
