Haldex oil change 13mm fill plug stuck

Today I tried to do my Haldex filter + fluid change. I couldn't find many pictures here that still worked, and it seems my 2010 V50 fill plug was slightly different than the older models.

I was able to locate the filter housing, using a small ratcheting screwdriver set I was able to remove the two screws:

I left the filter in-place while I figured out the fill port. In some pictures, it shows the Diff/Haldex fill ports closer together and on the same surface. Mine seemed a bit different, but basically it is in the same position. Above the rear sway bar, closer to the front of the car than the rear differential.

I tried a 45 degree offfset wrench, a crow foot + ratchet and just a straight wrench but was unable to get the damn thing off.

      Any further suggestions here?

      Thanks

      More torque.

Honestly that's all any of used, found ways to use bars and tools and make more torque on the bolt.

Good luck. Even people like me NOT in the rust belt had to take some satisfaction in the CRACK that you hear when it finally breaks loose.

Put your 13mm socket on it, let the ratchet or breaker bar hang down, and give it a good kick with your foot. You'll get it.

Thanks for all the tips and words of encouragement.

It ended up snowing/raining today but tomorrow looks like it will be nice and I'll attempt it again.

      Thanks again!

I used a set of offset wrenches I bought at the old hazard-frought (Harbor Freight). They're longer than a typical 13mm wrench to get a little more leverage and the offset is just enough to get in there.
