      Recent P0353 code

Recently I've been getting a P0353 code which I know means a bad coil. My current coils are about a year old (these coils here) and my car isn't exhibiting any hesitation or symptoms either like misfires. Is this code legit? I haven't honestly had a chance to check under the cover though to rule out the connection harnesses. But when I installed the coils last year, they were in excellent condition. My original coils weren't bad, I just decided to replace them with something better as a stage 0 preventative. Ideas, suggestions, comments? And yes, I know I should run VIDA as well... *sigh*

I hope ya kept the old coils for the sake of diagnosing. I did wonder about those when you got them. Almost pulled the trigger on them but went with Bosch/FCP because of the warranty. It should be easy to figure out this one. GL,,Ricky

Thanks Rick! I did indeed keep all 5 original, getting to them in my shed is another thing lol. I believe the code should indicate which could exactly, #3 if I've read right?? These coils are genuine Volvo/Bosch if you recall, but yes, no sweet warranty like FCP...

Swapped the coils around this past weekend and the code moved with the coil. Can't find my originals in my shed at the moment, but I'm going to replace with a new Volvo/Bosch coil and keep the blue silicon boot with it.
