When did you last fill up?

I last filled up a month ago and still have 2/3 of a tank left.

Cheap fuel is benefiting us all isn’t it

Three weeks ago - no, maybe four. I take a blast around town probably once a week in the VR. Once at 110 up the local highway which was empty...
      Still full.

Just today after needed grocery pickup. $1.66 US gal. for 92 Octane US seasonal Premium. Now I wish I had the 18 gal. fuel tank. Probably last me through May or maybe June.

Not sure but I think it was January. Still almost half a tank left. Looking forward to the PHEV so I don't burn that much

Must be 6 weeks at this point. The car was only moved when I did the oil change last week. Or was it the week before.

      Thanks for the reminder.

I am aware and understand that fuel gets old. A periodic drive helps. Of course, we never know how long a fuel station has had its fuel in the storage tanks.

In 2018, I could not drive for three months. It ran fine afterwards once I was allowed to drive again.

Managing fresh fuel that is Tier 1 and occasional driving are two mitigation strategies. Plus, my fuel tank is the smaller 13.3 gal. version.

If it is becoming an issue, I can see what, if any, fuel additive Volvo recommends.

Last fill up was probably 6 weeks ago and I barely budged off full this week. I was at Costco this morning and RUG is $1.09.

Time to get the convertible out in a week or so and not drive that, lol.

Oh- good to know 3 months may work! And I didn’t consider fuel additives. Hmm...

Until last week, I hadn't filled up in about 2 weeks.

Then I was re-called as essential. Now I'm back to about every 4 days. XC90s aren't exactly fuel sippers.

With the difficulty of finding alcohol-based hand sanitizer to apply topically, I have decided to apply alcohol systemically. This way, all of my cells are protected. And I'm constantly in a happy place. Not driving anywhere, so no potential harm to others.

I wonder about this. I don't understand engines, but I do know that my lawn equipment suffers when I use gas that I've stored for over a month, even if it is high octane Tier 1. Something about ethanol turning to water, I think. Old gas just can't be good for engines, especially with the omnipresent ethanol content that I used to be able to avoid. Gary raises a good point -- we can manage for how long gas sits in our cars' tanks, but we have no idea how long it has been sitting in the gas stations' tanks, and with demand down due to less driving, I imagine that period of time is much longer than it has been previously.

Time stamp: Filled up from just about empty last night at Shell. 10 cent off Tuesdays. Total cost: $65
Let's see how long it lasts until refuel.

Dang, a lot of you guys are getting excellent gas prices. We're getting ripped off big time here in Phoenix for gas. Costco near lowest price at around $1.80 gallon for regular. The last time I filled up was about 6 weeks ago, there's no where to go.

3 days ago. At my calculations-about 10 miles per gallon. Only premium and half a can of Boostane Premium. But having a blast!

When did you last fill up?

I added something today to my fill-up to do a “preventive maintenance” TURBO clean.

Some say it works realy good- others say no difference, some say it may cause damage...

      Any additive experiences here?
