Me either. Mechanicís down a fabricator and a few other guys due to the high unemployment. And the s70s due for its pcv and lowering springs (weitec!) before I start having fun in the wagon so it may be a few weeks, but I think the wait will be worth it.

Well the s70 has been running strong for a few good weeks now, it got timing pcv etc. The mechanic stopped waiting for his guy that usually works on my wagon to come in off unemployment and has his cousin finishing it up.

He got the wheels on a few weeks back as Iíve planned the Amalthea and Goodyear eagle sport combo for the s70, but Iím burning out these crap star fire rsc 2.0 first. Almost done

Got a call while he was working on the timing today that the vvt hub was not staying in position, I ordered one from Volvo parts counter for about 250 overnight, a lot better than fcp or straight from volvo. Also found my coolant leak - bottle was just cracked, thought it might have been a big issue such as heater core so Iím relieved there. Heís started all the cosmetic stuff while we wait for the vvt hub, hoping at the latest next Friday all this is done. I think heís getting tired of having it on his lift!

Glad to hear that things are moving along, finally. My V70 has taken up "resident Volvo" status at the shop while they try to track down the source of the noise following the last R&R of the transmission for a bad torque converter seal. Hopefully, hear something this week now that everyone is back from vacation.

Man, you just canít win with that issue
      Hoping you get it resolved!
Also hoping I donít run into any more issues as the shops going on a week vacation next Friday lol. Timing and coolant are done, just the intercooler, snabb pipe, brakes and the cosmetic stuff to go.

      Intercoolers done!

Can barely fit my finger between the fuel rail cover and the OTE pipe. Crazy fitment.
To do - xc90 brakes, snabb inlet, Xenon headlights and facelift taillights, wang, R center console, R wheel, vent mounted boost gauge

Thinking having it done by Friday will be a challenge, forgot that everywhere was closed for Labor Day. Either way, great to see progress finally.
