      New Waze bug found...

While driving today, I had waze on CarPlay with the radio on. I was trying to increase the volume on the radio and it was not changing? I noticed when I tried changing the volume I would get a little navigation icon up at the top of the screen to the left of the volume Graphic display instead of the little speaker icon. I exited out of waze on my phone and volume started working again. I started waze again and did the same thing. So I went into the waze settings-> sound settings and didn’t change anything exited from the settings menu and volume started working again. Never had this issue before. There must be something wrong with the latest waze update...

      Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks for this info, this was so annoying on my first long drive since lock down started! I'll kill Waze for now.

Thanks for posting this! I read it last month, though didn't have the sound level issue. Recently did iOS update, and some apps, including Waze. Curiously, after reading your post I read that the bug was addressed and/or read that if your Waze audio was off, there is no problem. My Waze audio is off 98% of the time unless in an unknown location.

My experience today: using Spotify from my cable tethered iPhone 11Pro with iOS 13.5. I had the newest Waze- I am a big user. The audio was low, say 2-3 on the volume scale. changing phone or car volume knob affected the level. I reconnected and no change. I immediately deleted the Waze app and the sound level from any iPhone app is as expected.

I will reinstall Waze someday. But these days, not in a big hurry
