      Engine Mount Thoughts

As I'm in the process of replacing the worn out components on my 850, I know the engine mounts are well overdue for a replacement. I've read pretty poor things about most aftermarket replacement brands, but many sites list Lemforder as OEM quality. Does anyone have any experience with the Lemforder engine mount kits? Or should I just stick with OEM Volvo?

For reference, I am trying to work on a bit of a budget, but it's not worth putting in aftermarket parts if they're just going to fail in a few months.

It’s more expensive and not the oe part?

      You linked the Lemforder mount.

As for the rest of them, the correct lower torque mount dog bone is the Hutchinson stiff which is (annoyingly) only sold bt eeuroparts

I used a Lemforder mount for the lower right (front of engine technically) and it's worked fine thus far. I would skip the really cheap mounts because you'll be doing them again.

Whoops, didn't mean to link just the Lemforder mount. I ended up grabbing a kit from FCP after doing some research.

Is it necessary to do the lower torque mount as well?

I would do all mounts, inc the lower torque. My feeling is that if everything is new and tight, then you will get the most life out of everything. If some parts are worn, then that might cause premature wear on your new ones. Upper and lower torques are easy compared to the rear mount closest to the driver. Don't raise the engine any more than is absolutely necessary to wedge that one in.
All and all, not a hard job if you take your time.
