what you get for spending 20 grand at the benz dealer last 5 years

this what you get for spending 20 grand at the benz dealer taking care of your car/suv for past 5 years ??? fuel filter was original from production date of 2000, i must say there was not charge or recommendation for customer to do it for that, must be a lifetime fuel filter... but the trans and brake fluid looked the same and there was charge for that...lol...take your car to dealer , they do it right...riiiight,,,,

Not surprised after MB dealer in VA managed to put narrow tires on one side, wide on another side after trying to rotate tires on a C43 AMG (offset tires... ). Well, that was last time I visited this particular circus.
Before anyone asks - when service advisor asked if I need tires rotated, I said NO, you do not rotate tires on this car. But they knew better..

Yikes. Did it stop dead in the road because no fuel was getting thru? Jeez.

That could happen at any dealer/service facility. Dishonest people are all over.

Looks like the filter did its job! Unless that was the outlet side.

sure did, point is - last owner spent 20 grand and this dealer last 5 years which never recommended to replaced original fuel filter from Y2K, production date of the suv...but they did recommend 15 grand of other work, which still did not list/cover the fuel filter.

Dougy, you should publicize the name of the dealer so that people know they're dishonest. I know you're not in my neck of the woods (Philly), so it's not one of the dealers around here.

I have noticed with the local Benz dealers that the service writers seem to expect that the customer knows nothing about cars and is willing to do whatever for service, with an open checkbook. They tried pulling some dumb stuff with me and when I called them on it, they didn't know what to say. At least the service manager was a straight shooter and I haven't had a problem since. Still, I don't buy what they're selling half the time unless I see it with my own eyes.

That's why I fix my own cars and will continue to do so until I'm physically unable.

This is the new ML55, one presume? I thought of drunkenly buying 1 of these when it popped up on local FB groups. Thankfully I was just drunk but not insane. What a cool truck, though!
