emblem grille mount for P3 S60/V60?

I've been looking at this thread in the SPA S60/V60 forum and wondering what it would take to get a grille bracket designed/made for the P3 cars. Anyone good at this kind of stuff?

I suppose you can ask the person who posted the STL file in that thread to share the design in a STEP or ACIS file format so you can modify the design to fit the P3 grille.
Of course you will need access to and working knowledge with some CAD package.
After that you can save it in whatever format the 3D printer requires.

Neither of those things apply to me, which is why I'm asking

If you post a STEP or ACIS file I can tinker with it.
You'd also need the measurement from the specific P3 grille. On the SPA it's mounted to one of those knobs in the grille.

There's an old thread on this. It's not really rocket science.

I've looked at that thread before and of course it's not rocket science - I've hacked together all sorts of things from using soda cans and hose clamps to temporarily seal a leaky exhaust pipe to aluminum tape to fix broken blinds. Just thought others might also have interest in a more elegant solution.
