hey guys,

I had a p1 v50 for a long time and as you can see from my post history here, I've been pretty active. I saw a decent price on a pre-owned xc60 r-design, 2010. I was wondering, based on your experience what are the common issues I should look for?

Simple things like AC clutch failure, or engine mount

or even more complex things like:

fuel pressure sensors, transmission issues or other.

Also, given the mileage I wouldn't expect warranty so what kind of recalls or other design issues may have come up that I need to be concerned about?

Morning, m4gician. Great find on this R Design. That's actually low mileage given the year.
I found mine just like this. Owned by an old lady it's whole life, complete volvo servicing, traded it in to a dealer which never sold so they sent it to auction and I scooped it up lickety split.

$9,000(117k miles) + $2,400 in maintenance parts(get to that in a bit), tires, alignment, Bloxsport 20mm wheel spacers, complete wash and detail and she's been one a hell of a car to have. Love this car so much.

Maintenance bits: PCV Service(I trusted FCP euro parts), Front & Rear Brakes/Rotors(Powerstop), new OEM intake pipe, a/c recharge, coolant service, tranny service, oil change, AOC & Differential drain & fill, torque mount, right engine mount, lower engine mount, tranny mount, front pass side axle boot kit(1 inch tear), IPD front sway bar end links, air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs, tailgate struts, side mirror puddle lights, 6000k headlights, extraneous led's.

Anybody else can chime in to help out but I pretty much nailed what maintenance will need to be addressed after purchase. Never hurts to also get a pre-purchase inspection done, preferably at a volvo independent shop.

Also, I did not do serpentine belt as it had been done at 80k with the prior owner and looked in great shape.
Good luck.
