Dash display that shows the speed limit of the road/highway I'm currently on?

I've had my XC40 for about a month now (and love it) but am trying to figure out how to get back the nifty feature where it shows the speed limit on the road/highway I'm currently on. It would appear near the speedometer. It was there when I first got the car but in the process of fiddling with the car settings, I lost it and can't figure out how to get it back. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are on the main / center panel of Sensus, just slide the panel from left to right.

The left panel (Functions page) appears. Scroll down the page until you see Road Sign info. It could be below the visible screen initially.

      Just turn it on.

If you have HUD and have calibrated its position, you can initiate that on this screen (e.g., HUD calibration).

The individual tile(s) on the Functions page can be moved around. It is a bit like checkers.

Gary is 100% correct. You can also make some adjustments the this setting under the vehicle settings.

Swipe down from the very top of the screen at the two parallel lines.
      Select Settings
      Select My Car
      Select Intellisafe
      Select road sign information

You can adjust a little about if and when it flashes for speeding, you can even make it beep at you for speeding (no one turns that on) and you can have it beep if it knows there are cameras on cars with Navigation.

Take note that it is not instantaneous . I believe it actually reads signs; so turning from a 45mph road to a 65mph highway might take a while to register. I know ours does as we have such a transition on our way home. It goes blinky and crazy as I accelerate from the intersection to 65mph while it still thinks I'm in a 45 !!!

From the Volvo Cars US website....

“Speed information may also be pulled from the map data if the Volvo is equipped with Sensus Navigation. The result of this will be the speed information may change without passing speed limit signs. For the best experience, please ensure your maps are updated by clicking here. “

Sensus Navigation also retains speed information. I understood that Sensus also learns from the roads routinely traveled. I cannot find that info right now to verify.
