How to remove side panel center console

Maybe it's a stupid question.. but how do I remove the side panel of the center console safely? I mean this part:

Need to access it from the HVAC/Head unit to pull some cables. First time doing something on my car, so go easy on me

Pull it. It just clips in.

Get your fingers under the bottom edge and pull, it's designed to unclip with ease.

+1 I have removed both sides that way (and sometimes pull on the heat vent plastic trim to get leverage, if that pops out, it pops right back in).

I do it at least once a year on the passenger side in order to replace the cabin filter.

Thanks, it worked. Never done anything on the car, so was a bit cautious
