      Air Suspension Alteration

      Hey guys,

I have not seen a thread on this yet, so I was curious if anyone has changed out their air suspension sensor rods (or links) or done anything else (spacers) to achieve an altered ride height on an xc60? There is a Land Rover site called Johnson Rods (somewhat unfortunate name), that makes altered tie rods that trick the air suspension into riding higher than stock in all ride formats. There is also a company in Southern California called Ghost Motorsports making something called Ghost Links that are meant to lower air suspensions in a similar way. They make links specifically for the XC60.

Does anyone have experience tinkering with the ride height on an air suspension XC60 with items like these?

      Thanks!

Here’s a post about this. I’ve considered going the ghost links route but haven’t done it myself.

Thanks, it sounds like the Ghost Links may be capable of raising ride height as well. I have an email in to them and hope to hear how much adjustment is possible.

I would like to run lower ride height in the summer with summer tires (on the stock 22" wheels), and have a higher ride height with some off-road/winter tires on 18" wheels when desired.
