      New member intro from NJ

      Hi all!

Picked up a CPO 2019 S60 T6 R-Design (fusion red metallic) earlier this week after months of research. Test drove a similar car in February and it became my mission to find / purchase a mint, loaded version (this car has all packages and options minus sport chassis) with <15k miles for <$33k OTD. After many drives to dealerships near and far (and almost as many dealers telling me to pound salt), MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Looking forward to learning from you all but will attempt to keep the mod bug in check (I have a 2013 GTI to get those kicks).

I think my favorite package is the Advanced Package. The 360° camera and Pilot Drive Assist are a must have if you’re buying a new car.

The sport chassis is the best option and you missed it!

Don't worry the mod bug can't bite too hard cuz there are not many mods ;-)

I was actually considering a GTI against the S60, leasing is strange that way as the GTI leases horribly so the two would cost about the same. But clutch pedal has a lot of value to me and the GTI does the everything-car so well. The all seasons absolutely neuter that car in a way they don't on the S60. But the right tires would fix that up I am sure. Plus any number of other readily available aftermarket parts to customize to ones liking.

I would have preferred the sport chassis but strangely, almost all of the cars that had it were pretty sparsely equipped otherwise.

I plan to keep the mods simple - black out the front grill bezel and possibly the rear badges. I can never leave well enough alone.

Oh snap! I'm originally from Brick down the shore but moved up to the Colonia area since both of us work in NYC.

      Welcome Fellow NJ'ersian

In my neck of the woods I see probably more S90's than S60s and when I do they are momentum version. Only one time did I see a S60 RDesign with Polestar and it was a BJ's parking lot (Kearny).

In November there was a loaner S60 Fully loaded, T6 with polestar and sport chasis in the same color you got from the dealership I got mine from. I believe a member on this forum picked that very car up. I would have gotten it but the red is a little too bright for my taste and stands out a bit too much.

Congratulations. I have same car and color. To me, best option is the B&W sound system. Love it.
