The driver's seat of a friend's 2011 S40 is beginning to sag and I was wondering if it would be possible to do a L <--> R swap of the front seats. These are manually adjustable seats.
Frames are the same to bolt in, but you’d have to switch the seat belts and airbags, too, along with the wiring and sensors.
I pulled the seat cushions and leather off some junk yard seats and swapped them onto my existing seats.
The heated seat wiring was the most-difficult part on the cushions, so I did just the leather on one side. That just involved prying open some clamps and reattaching them.
