Ran to a little snag with rear lowering springs 05 M66 T5 w/4c

about a year ago i snagged a set of Eibach lowering springs off an R from Erie. Unfortunately, lol, now when im installing the rears, they just wont go. Spring diameter is alot smaller on the R than what I've got, no way it'll sit in the perchs. Anyone have the rear spring part #'s? Its NOT Eibach #118400408HA The fronts worked just fine. Thanks in advance!

Sorry you ran into this issue. I have always heard conflicting reports on which springs to use for T5 cars with 4C, which there are so few of. Thus I never ended up switching out the springs with a lower/stiffer set.

When you do find out, let us know as I'm debating between lowering springs on the 4C's or just scrapping the whole system and installing the KW's that have been in my garage for over a year.

On my 2005 V70 T5 with 4C I used just the FWD lowering springs and they fit and work fine. The R has a different spring setup vs the T5. It may be because it is AWD. If you get the FWD lowing springs you will be fine on fitment.

10-4 on that J5T. Yep, they are just standard rear springs on the back like any V70 or S60 (non R). Where did you purchase yours from? Thanks.

Yepper! Real Unicorns. I have only seen one 2005+ V70 T5 M66 in person, mine. Have seen only a hand full for sale. First non-R vehicle I’ve seen with 4C but there is only 2 settings unlike the R with settings.

Yup. Besides J5T and ImportService, I think 1 or 2 other members have 05-07 M66 S60/V70's with 4C and I've seen maybe 1 or 2 for sale in the past 10 years. Definite unicorns.
