      Doorman 917-147 PCV Valve Diaphragm

Has anyone tried using this repair kit?
It can be picked up really cheap (under 30$).
Much cheaper vs the entire breather box when it starts whistling.
Preventative maintenance for our Si6 engines creep up in age...

It is a Doorman product... I've always found their products hit or miss.

On my other vehicles I like changing PCV valves when they reach a certain age / only do short trips.

Put one of those in my S60 at the start of the year... no issues so far... makes it possible to swap out without removing the entire breather box... you can just pry off the plastic lid... doesn’t matter when you break the plastic tabs getting it off since the diaphragm comes with a new one anyway

      Great to hear!
I have a big rock auto order coming up and for the price I might just pick some up for my XC90 and the XC60.
