LED bulbs for brake, reverse, and turn signals?

What’s everyone using to light up your ass end?

I finally wired up my reverse lights, 2 years after my manual swap I’d love to get LEDs for the whole back end, at the very least for the reverse lights

If you use led bulbs for brake and parking lights - you will be fighting the bulb failure lamp - if you use them for turn signals they might flash too fast. To fix the now constant bulb out warning - the easiest thing would be to take the dash off and remove the bulb out warning bulb from the instrument cluster.

On a side note - then you could put some aftermarket HIDs, leave them on all the time to show them off and blind everyone all the time! Put some bright blue ones in - those are particularly annoying.

I was thinking that could be a problem. The main ones I care about are the reverse lights, anything else would be a bonus.

Lol, I installed LED low beam bulbs about a month ago and they’ve been fantastic, definitely not blinding since I have them aimed properly, but the beam pattern isn’t as crisp anymore unfortunately.

50+ Watt usually work. That said for real 50's you'll be paying 40+ dollars a bulb.

Yep, you will be better off (that is able to see what you are about to hit!) if you just use what bulbs the headlamp was designed for. (but I know, led's are cool!, who cares if you can't see where you are going, just don't drive at night)

      +1 on LED reverse lights^

I see no advantage to LED turn signals and the 3rd brake light is already LED.

      LED headlight bulbs are great.

I've been meaning to ask what LED reverse bulbs you guys use, I'll be ordering a couple sets of these now.

      LED headlight bulbs are great.
Proper LED headlights are the way to go, I still rock halogen high's but even $25 LED's from amazon have been doing as well as the $120 Morimoto bulbs I had on my old red wagon. Not the best shot, because I’m so close to the wall and it was like noon, but still a visible difference

I would like to investigate LED running lights before turns & brake lights.
