Potential buyer, what should I look for?

I have a deposit on a 2018 V60 P*, I have to fly into town to see it. What should I look for and what kinds of fun noises should I listen for on the test drive?

It's relatively low miles so I'm not too worried but anything can happen.

      Thank you!
      -Sean

Make sure the front lip carbon fiber spoiler isn't cracked. Some dealers elect to not install it at all due to the fact that it is prone to damage.

I would use manual mode - downshifts should always be rev-matched with no shudder.
You should hear the nice supercharger whine until you get past 3500 RPM where it then hands over to the turbo - it should be seamless.
Use launch control with ESP off and make sure you step hard on the brakes.
If you're able, enable Sport+ mode, although it is probably a little too hyper to use on regular roads.

The P* is in its element doing all this.

You should still be under warranty, so that's always a nice bonus.
      Good luck and enjoy it!

Strut bearings go prematurely on these cars but you're probably early to have that issue on a '18 car - most of the people dealing with it now have '15.5 and '16 cars. Listen for clunks in the front suspension when going into driveways or turning at low speeds.

Good advice above on the CF bits - make sure they're undamaged.

      Congrats!

      Will do!

Someone messaged me to use an OBD2 reader and make sure I'm getting boost, check for codes, etc. What boost should I be getting?

In addition to the carbon fiber lip, also check where the front bumper cover meets the fenders. Some owners seeming to have issues with these panels lining up. Does this car have the CPO warranty or just factory 3 year?

Factory warranty, might be extended. The listing shows a long warranty but I would double check.
