      Noisy Blower Fan

My heater blower fan is noisy in the cold weather. Sounds like a bearing may be going in the motor or possibly a leaf in the hampster wheel of the blower. Alldata shows the blower located under dash in right corner. Any one try taking the blower out or removing front cowl? Trying to get an idea of whether this is a 40 minute or a 40 hour job.

      Re: Noisy Blower Fan (Norbert)

i seem to have the same thing but, it comes amd goes so im not going to mess with it yet. it sounds normal more times than not. I hope I dont have to have it fixed, im sure it is not covered by an aftermarket warranty.

      coverd under extended warranty.
      ..would have cost $1500 otherwise.

ac blower motor, actuator, two fans(upper and lower) replaced, plus ECU upgrades $99 each.
